He co-authored the work with Dr. Richard Bartlett, MD, a hospital emergency room director, recipient of the Meritorious Service Award from Texas Health and Human Services, and former advisor to then-Governor Rick Perry’s Health Disparities Task Force who pioneered treating COVID patients with Budesonide.
Jon was the first to break the USDA’s simultaneous H5N1 bird flu gain-of-function and vaccine research, and the first to break the 2024 Congressional omnibus bill’s allocation of $1 billion toward a future bird flu pandemic.
He was also the first to break the news that Denver, Colorado hospitals were injecting health workers with a live, shedding ebola vaccine amid the construction of a Fort Collins bat lab just miles away that will reportedly conduct risky research on ebola.

His work was submitted to the Ohio Senate as supporting documentation for expert witness testimony by Dr. Bartlett in May 2024, and to the Louisiana House of Representatives Select Committee on Homeland Security in September 2024.
