I've read they are dumping aluminum, which is associated with Alzheimer's, barium and strontium which are known carcinogens none of which is at natural or normal levels.

Having been an airline pilot for 33 years, I can confirm that jet engine manufacturers warrant their engines to the airlines that purchase them. If anything goes wrong with an engine, one of the first things they check is the fuel for contamination. There are very tight tolerances on any metal content in jet fuel, and airlines are constantly checking what goes into their jets, so they don’t lose that warranty. Jet fuel has gotten cleaner over the years, not dirtier. In fact, sulfur content has significantly dropped over the years. There is a certified additive list for Jet A-1 fuel, according to ASTM D1655 (Standard Specification for Aviation Turbine Fuels) and Def Stan 91-091 (used by NATO and much of the world). These additives are strictly regulated — only specific types and concentrations are allowed.
The problem people see is that passenger jet contrails do expand more now than they did years ago due to high bypass engines vs pure turbojet engines that were used decades ago. The contrails can, under certain atmospheric conditions, form clouds that can last all day. This is by definition, geoengineering, because it does affect the amount of solar radiation that reaches the earth, and the amount of long infrared radiation that escapes the earth.
