But what Sanders and King FAILED to mention is the fact that drug advertising is not intended to get customers.

It's just a bribe to the corrupt media to _not_ talk about inconvenient facts like the millions of deaths caused by Pfizer's dangerous and defective mRNA jabs.

If the media says a peep about those murders, then Pfizer will cut off the "advertising" money and that TV station or newspaper will suffer.

Pfizer doesn't care at all if anyone sees their "ads". What they care about is making sure that no one sees news about the deaths and maimings caused by their products.

You are absolutely right about the intention of Pharma advertising, BUT the fact is that such advertising does get to the consumers, who then "push" those drugs to their Drs, who then prescribe them (sometimes earning a variety of kickbacks from Pharma), and then the same merry-go-round ride begins again. It needs to stop.

Sure, there are a few direct victims of Pfizer ads, and that's another reason to ban pharma advertising like every other country (except NZ) does.

Sanders hasn't said one word about the Covid-19 military operation FAKE PANDEMIC crimes against humanity while he takes money from Big Pharma. The Republicans are just as dishonest, greedy and cowardly. None of them care about the people they purport to represent. Too little, too late while new mRNA Gene Therapy toxic shit rolls out everyday connecting us ALL to the Internet of Bio-Nano Things and the WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network IEEE802.15.6) via the nanotechnology biosensors embedded in masks, tests and jabs which enable PALANTIR'S open-air digital prison.

Sanders needs to retire to his socialist heaven dacha on Lake Champlain. Maybe he can go play ex mayor of Burlington.

This is something that needs to happen, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

And the "greedy pharmaceutical companies" will always find ways to make (ALOT OF) money,, whether they advertise or not. It's the nature of the beast.

Thanks for this! Hadn't heard about it till now

Nice noise, but what are chances this bill will get passed? I don't know the figure, but I believe if we knew how much Big Pharma was doling over to Congress in campaign contributions, we'd be reaching for the anti-psych drugs (which cause more harm than they help).

Does the bill stop the drug companies from advertising particular drugs to consumers only? If so, we are likely to still see drug ads aimed towards doctors, which sidesteps the bill's intent.

I often wonder how many people go begging to their doctors for prescriptions after they see the drugs' side effects in the ads.

EXCELLENT! This will be the END OF MAIN STREAM MEDIA, as big pharma is what keeps them afloat even though they have very few viewers.

Hopeful, but I cannot believe that this will EVER be passed as law. It if made to The Don's desk, I am sure he would veto it as it would effect incomes of his zillionare backers.

For some reason I thought this was one of the very first things Trump was going to do in his first term. But nothing came of it. I hope this time it will work. Ads for prescription drugs do not belong on TV. In fact, no commercials for whatever drugs should be allowed. That is what a doctor and a pharmacist are for. Isn't it all they learn anymore in school?

If this bill makes it into the houses, we will see who is serious about making America Healthy again.

Well. It looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, but is it a bill? Pharma/mafia and advertising conglomerates will defend on First Amendment rights, and the duck will be a silent duck in no time.

Present an anti-racketeering bill that BANS pharmaceutical suppliers from deploying *incentive* programs to hospital and privately based practitioners. The illicit acceptance of a criminal BRIBE by doctors should be considered a criminal Racketeering violation. The legislation should be passed within all 50 States jurisdictions. NOT at a Federal level.

Oh, so now Sanders wants to stop big pharma ads! Let’s see, how much did he accept?

“During the 2020 campaign cycle, Bernie Sanders received approximately $1,417,633 from individuals associated with the pharmaceutical industry, making him the largest recipient in Congress at that time. However, it's important to note that this amount includes contributions from individual employees rather than direct donations from pharmaceutical companies or their PACs.”

Oh wait, it’s individuals affiliated but not big pharma😂🤣 😥 whew

“IMPORTANT: This money comes from employees or PACs affiliated with the industry, not from the companies themselves.”

https://www.opensecrets.org/industries/summary?cycle=All&ind=H04&recipdetail=M&sortorder=U

Sanders is a fraud, king of pharma, crook and criminal! Just like all of them.👆🏾 I wouldn’t trust this asswipe to do anything of value.

Great stack though👍

In an odd, but common twist, Sanders also lead the coalition to ultimately defeat the Bill.

Two sets of campaign ads were produced.
