Thanks for sharing. You can believe what you will, but I disagree.
I write as a whole food ethical vegan for more than 25 years. My brain and mood are fine.
Yes, some studies do say vegetarian and vegan mental health is lower, but many studies
show the opposite. Since vegetarians and vegans typically have empathy for farm animals
and marine life, perhaps depression comes from understanding animal suffering.
If anything, eating animals that did not want to die, and resisted their death, would sour anyone's mental health, rather than improve it, However, omnivores are consuming adrenaline and cortisol, both stress hormones from animals eaten, that act like a stimulating drug. And, dairy eaters are
consuming dairy that results in a caso-morphine effect in the human body.
Here are two videos, with multiple references, showing that mood IMPROVES with a plant-based dietary regimen:
Hey, I totally hear you. My take on diet is that if you feel like you’re flourishing and healthy and happy, keep doing what you’re doing—whether it’s meat or fruit or veggies. If you feel good, I’m happy!
Just because someone is "vegan" or "vegetarian" or "omnivore" does not equal they
are consuming healthy foods. There is a ton of processed food out there of every kind,
and many humans live on this stuff, vegan or otherwise. Some vegans do not eat healthy foods and their health can easily suffer. I personally will not consume impossible burgers, fractionated foods, white sugar, fast foods, fried foods, and similar.
But, many humans do; their choice. I see what people buy in the supermarkets, including the habit of putting soda 6 packs all over the tops of the shopping carts. Sadly, the medical system does not teach Doctors about nutrition or prevention; it is not profitable enough. Yet, many humans go to Doctors and expecet to be helped. Humans trusted their doctors and submitted to their Covid jabs, believing that the Dr. knew what they were doing and were educated. They were not.
