They have no authority to do dictate what American schools will teach in the classroom. What they are doing is creating a class of workers who like in Nazi Germany and China are educated for a pre-determined career created on a caste system. So the rich kids end up signing the front of a pay check and the poor kids (because there will only be 2 classes) are relegated to slavery and signing the back of the check....that is assuming they even get a paycheck. This is why at this stage of the game dissolving the US Dept of Education is not a good idea. States will belly up to the Unions. There is already a shift in ending a parents right to home school and believe me that will be part of their agenda.

To all teachers…..if you care about our children at all you will STOP paying ALL Union dues. The law was passed that gives you the right to do that. Your money is being used to destroy education not to protect you or our children. Look at yourself in the mirror and you will see a contributor to making slaves out of our children if you don’t stop it now. STOP PAYING TEACHER UNION DUES.
There are far greater problems than teacher union dues. We have a societal collapse. Children are living in abject poverty, with mass numbers of working single parents, where children have little guidance and are raising themselves. The behavioral problems that teachers are dealing with are off the charts. The food system is contributing to the sickest children on earth, ill prepared to focus and learn. And then there is the runaway screen time.
Why worry? It is ALL going down.. We can only hope that it all falls apart before too many of such things are put in place. Civilizations on the brink always grasp at straws of control, a false sense of it anyway, while operating under layers of delusion. How sad to be witnessing these End Times.. This test will mandate that all kids know their letters and numbers and colors, among many other things. These are the things children once began learning in kindergarten, back when we actually produced students who knew the name for of the president of the US, that Alabama is a state and not a foreign country and that Mexico is the country on our southern border.
Until kindergarten. There is legislation pending to remove all religious exemptions in MA. This is going to be devastating for my grandchildren. My newborn grandson isn’t being vaccinated at all. The older two had some early on, until their parents woke up. We may have to move to and another state. It’s nearly impossible here to find a pediatrician that will even allow an unvaxxed patient into their practice. That’s what vaccine bonu$e$ do. These professionals would choose to turn away a child, who then would have no medical care. These are surreal days all the way around. I hope RFK can unravel this mess.
My mom also just told me she learned the alphabet letters in first grade too. I remember learning them in kindergarten . I have a 4 year old grandson that likes the alphabet flash cards. He has about 6 more upper case letters to learn. I don’t push. He always asks. I believe play is serious business at his age. My 2nd grade granddaughter gets homework every night, both math and reading. It’s off the wall asking these young kids to do more after sitting in class all day. She is just done when she returns from school and it makes learning miserable. All of this and kids have fallen behind over the decades.
I find writing to be more important than reading and working in groups. All literacy learning is social. Never push a child with a BS program or teacher until age 7. Cut them slack with homework. Standardized testing hurts everyone. Teachers can be a real problem with boring homework. Cant hurt to help them with it if the kid feels overwhelmed, but sparingly.

As a family of teachers we refused to join these leftist lunatic unions, realizing early on they don’t represent wholesome values and a support of parental partnerships, but instead pretend their misguided supremacy over parents. This blabbermouth Weingarten herein stated such idiotic trash as “class sizes ~ too large” among other drivel. I remember my upbringing when 40 children was a norm for classrooms. I routinely taught classes of 50-125 without issue. What absolute weakness in the teachers of today.
Now Weingarten even flinches when confronted by her curriculum lies. The education stats for US Ed are terrible.
My plan? Teachers should be REtaught to teach phonics. To teach cursive penmanship. Teach English as our ONLY language. And give full /deep understanding of our difficult language. Teach a class on FATHERHOOD where young people find out how to FATHER, not Sex Ed (where children are exposed to fornication, uncleanness and moral pollution)…. Remember ANYONE can sire a child~ But it takes a REAL man to FATHER that child. We need to rebuild the moral infrastructure of this devastated Republic which is moving sadly toward Empire, secretly controlled by outside forces caring NOTHING for our values.
