In the 50s and 60s there was a drug called thalidomide, which I understand was to combat morning sickness. Look what happened there, 10s of 1,000s of deformed babies were born, many didn't make it, but those who did had to have strength of character in order to live with the disabilities they were born with.
They had to be admired for their determination to be independent where they could be, even if they had to have adjustments to their home to enable them to live as full a life as possible. Some even managed to have children of their own, no thanks to the pharmaceutical companies responsible.
The human race seems to have a complete inability to learn from its mistakes and recklesness, yet is able to list lessens identified.
Instead of identifying the lessens, they should be duty bound to take the lessen and follow it through to a safe conclusion. If this was even attempted more people may show a bit more trust in the professions who are supposed to be there to support us or animals with our lives.

Peer reviews are another way of marking your own homework, it needs a sceptic to bring out the dangers and it needs the scientists or relevant profession to be mature enough to take criticisms or contrary findings on board and do something to resolve it. What is not needed is for those professions to take it personally and shut down any route to debate or understanding of the objective.

I've been buying bags of cigarettes from the Indian reservation they opened up around here, and sell them for a very reasonable price compared to the cigarette companies. Another thing is, I felt they were more pure tobacco than the others. BUT! In May when I bought them again, I was so disgusted and disturbed by what I tasted. It was as though they had sprayed the spike protein onto the plant material before the cigarettes were rolled. It was SO chemical, and unfathomable that I was tasting it. I also notice another strange thing. That very day I went to another store where the African people sell more natural products. I was buying some Shea Butter, raw and pure. BUT! I found out as soon as I put it on my skin that it was NOT pure. AGAIN, that ugly chemical was in there too! and it felt like it was biting my skin, whereas Shea Butter in its raw form is very soothing. This stuff was NOT.

Consider: instead of throwing such things away, take them back to where you bought them. If enough people return items, any items, then the stores will stop buying these products from the wholesalers and hopefully get the producer to stop making such items for sale.

We are now sprayed with everything. Last year we got notice that we had been sprayed with rabies vaccine, so that the wild animals wouldn't get sick. Our dogs and cats on the other hand, can not use the spray or the oral but MUST get the injection. With paperwork, or no vet will see them.
